We will not allow the Vision organisation (the Council’s semi-independent Leisure arm) to railroad through its plans to resite the Children’s Library in South Woodford Library, or move Woodford Library to the Hawkey Hall.

Following objections from ourselves and many others, there will now be more consultations before final decisions are taken in the summer.

Nevertheless Vision have cancelled bookings at the Hawkey Hall. Long term patrons, the National Trust, have been told to look elsewhere. The popular WOADS Pantomime is uncertain about the venue for their next production.

All because Vision are trying to bounce the Council into a decision.
