The Council is proposing to ban pavement parking in every street in the borough, except in roads where residents have asked for it to be allowed and the Council have formally agreed.

Unless Chelmsford Road residents ask for pavement parking to be allowed to continue it will be banned altogether when the new regulations come in.

A number of residents in Chelmsford Road do park with wheels on the pavement. Others choose not to. If pavement parking is allowed to continue it will not be compulsory. Things will remain just as they are now.

 The Lib Dem Focus Team has conducted a survey of residents’ views in Chelmsford Road and will be reporting the results to the Council.  More news when we have it!
